Who would've thought.....

...that this little bundle would eventually have bigger feet than his mother? Happy 14th Birthday to my son, K!

AWWWW!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY K!!

Our 14 yr old is now wearing men's size 9 shoes. At 5'6", Z is already taller than both his Dad and sister. I have the feeling he'll surpass me by this summer. He's also developing a shadow on his upper lip.

WHERE did the time go? All I did was blink, and my baby started turning into a man!

Thanks, TSHS. K wears size 11 clunkers and is now 5'8". If he keeps growing, he'll easily surpass me in heighth. When he was younger, I could never imagine him being a teen. Now, it seems so long ago that he was little. :-/

That's not all.

When Grandpa called with a Happy Birthday wish, the first thing K said was, "Only 365 more days until I get my daytime driving permit." He's already bypassed 14 and is concentrating all of his attention on 15.

Someday K will regret that he ever wanted time to pass by so quickly.

Hi Dad, It's funny that you mention that. He said the same thing to me about driving. I'm trying not to picture him driving so I don't have a heart attack. :-P

I remember when I was his age - I wanted to be older too. I thought it would be so great. Sheesh, if only I knew then what I know now....

I lost my comment and I am not going to go back through and explain what I just said. So happy belated b-day K. Hope you enjoyed it.

Tweety - Thanks, he had a good birthday. He doesn't particularly get excited about much, but he said he had a good time. :-P

Thats good to hear. I still have a hard time believing my oldest baby is six and my youngest will be three in June. Where has time went. I know just wait till they hit the teen years. I cant say I am particularly looking forward to that part of them growing up. Well anyway glad to hear he had a great b-day and had fun.

Ahh, Notta, your son is too cute! Isn't it scary how they grow up so fast. It seems just yesterday I had some baby nieces and nephews and now they are ten years old and growing. Happy Birthday to your son!
